School Council Lead Worship
School council led worship and helped us reflect on how we can show our school value of respect. They have organised litter picks to take care of our school grounds.
Starfish Malawi
During our recent Inspire Day we learned all about Starfish Malawi. We talked about our link school, Kaphatenga School, what we would like to know about them and what they might like to know about us. We thought about things that are different in Malawi and even took part in some Malawi themed art and crafts.

Yummy Christmas Dinner!
Today we enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner cooked by our amazing cooks Maria and Linda. We also had some Christmas crackers donated by Tesco's at Whitfield.
Christingle
The juniors went to St Mary's Church to celebrate Christingle. Rev. Andrew taught us about the meaning behind the different parts, dressing up as a Christingle! We enjoyed welcoming our friends and families to share the service with us.
We Will Remember Them
We were fortunate to have Mr James join us in worship. He was representing the Eastry branch of the Royal British Legion. He talked to us about the role of the British legion and their work supporting veterans and families who had lost loved ones. We stood as he recited ‘for the fallen’ we all joined in saying ‘we will remember them’.
Celebrating Harvest
We had a great time celebrating our Harvest Festival at the Church with Rev Andrew. Our families were very generous with their donations for Deal Food Bank, Thank you. The children did a great job sharing poems, songs, stories and prayers with us. Our school values of compassion and joy in action!
Year 6 Production - An Amazing Evening
Year 6 wowed their audiences with their end of year production of A Midsomer Night’s dream. What a wonderful way to end their time at Primary School
A win in the Sandwich Town and Rural Primary School Rounders Tournament!
We took part in the Sandwich Town and Rural primary school rounder’s competition organised by Manwoods. The children showed perseverance and respect to their competitors and went on to win!
The Big Dance Off National Finals
We are very proud of our dance troop who reached the National Finals. They showed all our school values and our learning powers! Well done to you all.
Sport's Day
We loved having our first sports day with parents since the pandemic. It was fabulous to have them cheering us on. Earth (green) went on to win. The picnic lunch on the field was great fun too!
Queen's Platinum Jubilee Concert
