Loving One Another

Today in worship we thought about how we can live our vision of loving one another. We looked at how Jesus did this by washing his disciples feet. We decided we could love one another with our words and said something positive to those around us. For every compliment we gave that person stacked up their shoes. I wonder what compliments you can give each other at home? ❤️

Welcome Back to Term 5

Welcome back for term 5! We hope you had a great Easter. Where is the year going? We’ll be starting our morning with a dance off through the gates on the way to class. We’re looking for the best dancers (grown ups and children) if you have any song requests please let us know. Once in class the children’s early morning time will start with a mindful Monday start this may be yoga, sensory activities, wondering questions, games. All things to support our wellbeing on our first day back (this will then happen each Monday) Maddie will be there on the gate to greet you all too (but hopefully a little cleaner than this!)

Thank You for Supporting Our Book Fair

Thank you for supporting the book fair last week ???? look at how many new books you raised for the school! It’s so appreciated.

Our School Dog

One of the most loved staff members at Eastry is our school dog, Maddie. Every Monday Maddie joins the children in school, sitting in on lessons, hearing readers, being taken for walks and being cuddled. She thinks she has the best job in the world!

Maddie is a hypoallergenic dog so there is a reduced risk of allergic reaction too. We understand that is it not possible for all families to have a family dog and therefore we hope that this is an opportunity for children to have a "share" in a dog, gain from a relationship and contact on a regular basis and have a friend for life.
