Cricket Lessons for Year 3 to 6 with Cricket Coach
Year 3-6 have been enjoying cricket lessons this term and today, coach Tom led our assembly to tell us more about cricket and Chance to Shine. This assembly was not only teaching us about cricket the game, but also to recognise and understand the spirt of cricket: teamwork, friendship, resilience, empathy, aspiration amongst other things.
Our Decorated Christmas Tree at the Tree Festival
The children made some beautiful decorations to represent the carol 'Ding Dong Merrily on High'. The decorations were made by the children in Forest School and are on display at St. Mary's Church, Eastry's Tree Festival.
Christmas Dinner at Eastry
Today we all had a wonderful time enjoying a Christmas Dinner prepared by our wonderful cooks. We would like to also thank the PTFA who provided a Christmas cracker for the children.
Our Tribute on Remembrance Day
Today we attended the community remembrance on the parade. Our year 6 representatives showed our school value of respect. We then went to lay our wreath at the war memorial in the churchyard. In school we have been thinking about remembrance in worship and fledglings and forest schoolers have made poppies.
Alternative Sports Day 2025
What a wonderful day keeping fit and active for Years 1 to 6. We went around in circuit to complete several boxercise activities and then finished up with a skipping competition. Children also took part in Archery on the school field {gallery:Boxercise 2025}
